Internet Public Library's 15 Things - Online Technologies

Here are the first five of the IPL's new list of 15 favorite technologies (blogs, microblogging, social networking, wikis, and virtual worlds) with background information, best practices, related articles, IPL applications, and exercises. This looks like a nicely organized collection of information on these topics.

logging on

As Becky, mentioned, Gretchen confirmed, and Elaine was able to do, you do not need a google account to get set up on the blog. Use whatever you consider your regular email, (see Cathy's post below for one suggestion) and use that to set up your own password. Caroline and Karen - you should be able to use one of the branch addresses to do this.

Also, remember to start labeling your posts. It's natural language, no set names necessary. I will work on getting the cloud or list set up.
